Why do Mosquitoes buzz in people's ears*?

So all last week Ryan and I haven't been able to sleep well because of mosquito's buzzing around our ears. Right when we're about to drift off.... BZZZZZ!!! It was so bad that sometimes we weren't sure if we were hearing things or if it was actually another mosquito. O_O I ended up doing this a lot in an attempt to amplify the sound to figure out which direction it was in. I kinda went insane. The picture doesn't show enough of my insanity, but it was great color practice.

I am pleased to say that I am the mosquito grabbing King, and have grabbed more mosquitoes than Ryan (Cherise 10: Ryan 1... or something).

2nd batch that I did today, all 30seconds. Poses from this site:  http://www.posemaniacs.com/blog/ This site uses 3D models however, so there is no weight to the people you draw there. I used it for pose and perspective practice.
